Sevilla-Santa Justa is the main railway station of the city of Seville. It was inaugurated on May 2, 1991 after works that began in 1987. Its opening meant the closing of the historic stations of Plaza de Armas and San Bernardo.
It is the third station in Spain, after Madrid-Atocha and Barcelona Sants with a volume of passengers close to 13 million annually of which about 7 million correspond to commuter traffic.
